Congratulations on your 2017 AMG Heritage Award Nomination(s)! The AMG Heritage Awards pride themselves on professionalism and artists growth. To be an AMG Heritage Award recipient it takes determination to your craft. We literally spend hundreds of hours weeding through all of the entries which range over 10,000 a year. If you have made it to the final ballot and are directed to this page, this means you have achieved what the Guild determines as a high standard to your craft. So, Congratulations!
The submission process if one of the most critical steps in our voting process! If you do not follow the rules as stated you do run a high risk of being disqualified. It is also important to know that the Guild is expecting you to put your best foot forward when it comes to your submissions. Remember, the judges are watching and listening to your material. So, if you submit a substandard example of your work then how can you expect a judge and their panel to give you higher marks than someone who has? So, when submitting keep reminding yourself that this is an example of “your” work and how would you want others to see it.
When submitting this year you are going to be required to purchase your tickets during the submission phase. You will be prompted once you have started your submission to order your tickets. All official nominees are required to be in attendance of the awards broadcast in order to claim their nomination per the Guild’s rules of which you can review by going here and scrolling down to Rule For Awards> GUILD RULES FOR AWARDS. Please be advised that you need to order all of your parties tickets at the same time as your own. Each year we run out of tickets and have to turn people away at the door. Unfortunately, even some of the nominees. So, if you know that you will have four individuals attending with you, then please purchase four tickets at the time of your submission. You will be directed to a secured payment site and upon payment you will be permitted to carry on with your submissions. This is for your benefit so that we can ensure proper seating. If you are not planning on attending the awards broadcast we would appreciate your professionalism by sending us an email letting us know you will not be in attendance so that we can release your seats to someone else.
